In past years, a trip to AT&T Park may be written off as a series dispiriting loss with high confidence, but those days are gone. In the end, the Rockies need to decide whether they want to compete or rebuild. Colorado has won 3 of their past 4 series in San Francisco, including sweeps in each of the last eight years and series victory in their last 1 trips to the bay. The Rockies were 11-7 in games at San Fran the last 6 years, highlighted by a ten-3 mark in 2008. But how to settle the odds without over-engaging? The Rockies look defined on paper, but as of now, we are nowhere near the Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers or Cincinnati Reds in terms of fielding.
The Rockies snag won the overall season series against the giant in each of the last 3 seasons, going 31-23 in that span.
Colorado has won 5 straight series against San Francisco. So forget the overall 99-130 finances Colorado has posted against the human. The Colorado Rockies are trying to arrive the tenth skin since 1990 to win the World Series after finishing with the shrewdest referee in the majors.
